Dear MIchael McCarthy, They've spoken to us time and time again: "God reveals himself to us in the interruptions." When Brazy got your call for help, it was one of those balmy Sedona rare spring evenings. So we shifted our lives in the stride of joy and made the journey to nourish you through a moment of crisis. There, in the lower parts of the Arizona desert, where the oranges grow so sweet! A suburban sprawl, bright green golf lawns placed on top of hot shifting sands. And we served as Jah would call us, and you, perhaps unknowingly, gave back to us, for in this opportunity to serve we experienced a wonder of unity. Thanks God that inside your home there hung your paintings, and sitting in the corner of the room, a piano. This I recorded on your piano, during those three days when Roberto and I stayed at your home. May the music lift you up, Michael, and may you rise into greater realizations of your self in God, in the same way that your wondrous arts bring us closer to the precipice of our truth. (2020)
